About this role

This role leads a small team of Account Executives at Tacto to drive revenue in a greenfield DACH market, coaching sellers and shaping go-to-market strategy while delivering measurable procurement value to industrial Mittelstand customers. It's a hands-on leadership position that combines quota-bearing sales with people development and process-driven performance optimization.

What you'll do

  • Own a customer segment and lead a team of ~5 Account Executives to capture a large market opportunity in DACH.
  • Close deals against a personal quota while coaching the team to exceed collective targets.
  • Work with founders and sales leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategy for a greenfield market.
  • Deliver value to procurement teams, helping customers optimize costs, reduce supply chain risks, and meet regulatory needs.
  • Build and coach a high-performing sales team through structured training, hands-on deal support, and performance management.
  • Join critical customer conversations to shape deal strategy, remove risks, and support negotiations and business case development.
  • Implement and coach on structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC) to improve discovery, negotiation, and process management.
  • Drive performance through metrics tracking, pipeline reviews, and action planning to increase win rates and deal velocity.
  • Identify and apply AI opportunities to accelerate team productivity and share effective workflows across Tacto.

What Tacto is looking for

  • 3+ years as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS with complex, non-transactional sales.
  • At least 1 year in a sales leadership role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies and the ability to coach others on their application.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with tactical execution on deals and go-to-market activities.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with a purpose-driven mindset.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Based in Munich and able to work on-site in a full-time capacity.
