(Senior) Business Development Representative
About this role
Tacto Technology is hiring a (Senior) Business Development Representative to join its Go-to-Market team and help scale sales across industrial customers in Europe. This role combines structured training, hands-on prospecting, and rapid skill development to build pipeline, refine messaging, and drive revenue for a product that solves a major industrial challenge.
What you'll do
- Own the prospecting pipeline end-to-end, identifying and converting new leads via phone, email, and social media.
- Run discovery conversations and build qualified opportunities for the sales team.
- Execute and iterate on outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
- Conduct independent market research to find B2B prospects and tailor outreach.
- Develop and maintain persuasive sales materials, call scripts, and templates.
- Deliver internal training sessions and workshops to share best practices with the team.
- Master product, market, and customer knowledge to confidently engage prospects.
- Leverage AI tools and experiments to accelerate prospecting and optimize workflows.
- Contribute to a high-velocity, feedback-driven sales culture with measurable performance.
What Tacto Technology is looking for
- 1–2 years of sales experience for standard roles, with senior applicants holding 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Initial experience in SaaS sales and comfort with tech tools; interest in the industrial sector is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German.
- Strong motivation to build from the ground up and work hands-on in a scaling environment.
- Resilience, goal orientation, and a positive attitude toward challenging targets.
- Experience performing in demanding or startup-like environments and rapid learning ability.
