About this role

Tacto is hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for manufacturing and industrial customers in Germany, turning procurement from a cost center into a strategic advantage. You’ll work on-site in Munich with a strong prospecting team, selling a product that targets substantial savings for Heads of Procurement and C‑level stakeholders.

What youll do

  • Qualify and close new B2B software customers across manufacturing and industrial companies.
  • Manage the sales process from first meeting to signed contract, including demos and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with a prospecting team to maintain and convert a qualified pipeline.
  • Advise customers and build business cases to demonstrate product value and ROI.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies to form long-term customer partnerships.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to inform product innovation.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success to improve sales motion.
  • Contribute to building and training a high-performance sales organization and processes.
  • Identify and experiment with AI workflows to accelerate sales effectiveness.

What Tacto is looking for

  • Minimum 1–2 years closing experience in B2B software sales; senior roles may require 5+ years.
  • Experience selling into industrial or technical environments, ideally with procurement or supply chain contacts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and sales metrics.
  • Strong advisory and consultative selling skills with solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal German communication skills.
  • Comfortable performing in demanding, fast-paced or startup environments and contributing to company growth.
  • High learning velocity and cultural fit with Tacto’s European narrative.
