Expansion Lead

This role leads Tacto's expansion into the largest industrial groups in the region, building the enterprise motion from first principles and turning early wins into a repeatable playbook. You will run complex, long-cycle deals, engage C-level stakeholders, and scale the practice by hiring and mentoring a team. This is a high-impact, builder-oriented role operating at the intersection of strategy, sales, and cross-functional execution.

What you'll do

• Own the expansion vector end-to-end and define how Tacto wins inside major industrial groups.
• Set the strategy for creating the most value inside enterprise accounts and design the path to revenue.
• Build and manage your own pipeline, run sales cycles, and close deals from first conversation to contract.
• Lead executive workshops, PoC scoping, commercial negotiations, and contract close.
• Earn trust and engage with CPOs, CFOs, and Management Board members at Europe's leading industrial groups.
• Codify successes into a playbook covering pricing, messaging, deal structure, stakeholder engagement, and pilot design.
• Orchestrate cross-functional work with Product, Sales, CX, and Procurement Advisory to deliver end-to-end.
• Scale the motion by hiring and building the growth engine once the approach is proven.

What Tacto is looking for

• 5+ years in high-performance environments such as Tier 1 management consulting (Project Lead / Engagement Manager) , a VC-backed startup, or as a founder.
• Proven credibility with C-level stakeholders in complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle industrial organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking: able to frame ambiguous opportunities and translate them into concrete plans.
• Builder mentality with high agency, strong communication skills, and resilience under ambiguity.
• Native German and fluent English; industry touchpoints in DACH industrial / Mittelstand are a strong plus.
• Experience performing in demanding environments and a track record of startup or equivalent project complexity.
