Chief of Staff @ Tacto

This Chief of Staff role at Tacto partners directly with the CEO and the core leadership team to turn strategic ambition into clear, operational outcomes, with a particular focus on building and running the company’s talent function and driving organization-wide AI adoption. You’ll own end-to-end talent, org development, and alignment for a 100+ person, AI-native company, with scope to expand into broader CEO-level priorities.

What you'll do

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensure measurable progress across the organization.
• Support the CEO by preparing decisions and keeping critical initiatives on track.
• Build, lead, and scale Tacto’s end-to-end talent function with a direct team reporting to you.
• Identify, engage, and close top talent across departments to grow the company.
• Co-own and drive org development programs including performance management, compensation & career frameworks, and leadership development.
• Champion AI enablement across teams, pushing adoption of new tools and workflows.
• Lead internal communication and change management to keep 100+ people aligned on what and why.
• Expand scope into market expansion or cross-functional strategy as priorities evolve.

What Tacto is looking for

• 3–5+ years in high-performance environments (Tier 1 consulting, VC, high-growth startups, banking, or founding experience).
• Proven performance in demanding environments and experience in fast-moving startups or equivalent project complexity.
• Strong structured problem-solving paired with rapid execution speed.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, evaluate, and develop top talent; high bar for excellence.
• Outgoing, persuasive communicator who builds relationships across levels.
• Deeply AI-native: uses AI tools daily and drives AI adoption across organizations.
• High agency, strong judgment, resilience for sustained high-intensity work.
