Senior Solutions Engineer - Enterprise (London)

Semgrep is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Enterprise, London-based, to lead technical engagements in complex enterprise deals. You’ll combine strong engineering depth with sales acumen to read code, assess vulnerabilities, and collaborate with senior technical stakeholders to advance Semgrep adoption in large organizations.

What youll do

• Become an expert on Semgrep and integrate it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.
• Run technical discovery, diagnose issues, and advise on solution design.
• Own Proof-of-Value cycles end-to-end — defining success criteria, configuring environments, and delivering technical wins.
• Write or adapt Semgrep rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product mastery.
• Explain Semgrep’s technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
• Reduce customer friction by improving demo setups, automation, and educational content.
• Partner with AEs (2:1 ratio) to support enterprise deals (~$140K ACV; 6–12 month cycles).
• Help scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team through process, enablement, and best practices.

What Semgrep is looking for

• 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong engineering background (CS fundamentals) and ability to read code and identify software vulnerabilities.
• Experience with developer workflows and CI/CD environments; ability to integrate security tools into pipelines.
• Experience writing or adapting SAST rules to identify vulnerabilities.
• Experience selling enterprise, complex technical products (AppSec, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, or related developer tooling).
• Ability to articulate Semgrep’s technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
