Senior Product Designer

Semgrep is seeking a Senior Product Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our small but growing design team. You’ll own meaningful design initiatives that simplify security and software engineering workflows, collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape direction. This role is critical to advancing our mission to make it expensive to exploit software by improving the developer and security experience.

What youll do

• Lead and execute ambiguously scoped design initiatives within and across product teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product direction and roadmap decisions grounded in user needs.
• Advocate for simple, thoughtfully designed workflows, owning UX metrics like task success and time on task.
• Conduct hands-on user research, synthesizing and sharing insights about users and their workflows.
• Contribute to design critiques, mentor teammates, and help establish design standards and processes for our growing team.

What Semgrep is looking for

• Experience in the security industry.
• Experience leading ambiguously scoped design initiatives.
