Founding Product Designer

Pool is building a design practice from the ground up and needs a founding Product Designer to shape the end-to-end customer experience in a fintech platform. You’ll own the design direction from day one, guiding onboarding, identity flows, sending and managing money, and the edge cases that matter for payments.

What youll do

• Build design from the ground-up for Pool’s product experience.
• Shape the customer experience end-to-end across onboarding, identity flows, sending and managing money, and related edge cases.
• Lead product design across discovery, prototyping, user research, and high-fidelity execution.

What Pool is looking for

• 2+ years of experience in a design role.
• Experience in fintech/payments product design, including onboarding and money flows.
• Familiarity with design-focused AI tools and how they’ll change day-to-day work.
• Strong fundamentals in design and problem solving; formal education in design or related field is preferred but not required.
