Clera is seeking Objective-C developers to join its San Francisco onsite team to stabilize WhatsApp integration, unify multi-channel API, and power rapid product launches. You’ll work with a hands-on team of about 10 engineers led by two co-founders to build robust, scalable infrastructure that improves reliability and customer experience. This role is critical for maintaining momentum during upcoming May launches and sustaining growth.

What youll do

• Stabilize WhatsApp integration and address connection issues to differentiate offerings.
• Contribute to a unified API architecture to support multi-channel exposure and faster feature rollout.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure to handle growing usage and reduce downtime, focusing on WhatsApp and iMessage channels.
• Implement and improve line management, smart routing, onboarding routing, load balancing, and migration fallback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major May product launches to ensure readiness and smooth deployments.
• Develop capacity planning and performance metrics with clear targets for scaling lines and onboarding pace.
• Create recovery processes for banned lines and manage backlogs to maintain service continuity.
• Align with CTOs and teams on integration and data engineering workloads, fostering open technical collaboration.

What Clera is looking for

• Onsite in San Francisco; able to work closely with local teams in a fast-growing environment.
• Strong background in Objective-C development and macOS environments, with hands-on DevOps/infrastructure experience.
• Experience building or maintaining messaging or API-driven platform integrations suitable for multi-channel support.
• Senior-level capabilities with strong CS fundamentals and demonstrated collaboration with leadership to drive stability and scale.
• Compensation: 150-200k + Equity.
