Deployed Engineer
About this role
We are seeking a highly technical, customer-obsessed engineer to join our Deployed Engineering team. You are an engineer by training, with a strong ability to write production-quality Python code. You also possess exceptional communication skills and the executive presence to act as a credible technical advisor to Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate has experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Forward Deployed Engineering, and is passionate about helping customers build the next generation of AI agents.
What you'll do:
Own the entire technical customer lifecycle, from pre-sales technical discovery and proof-of-value (POV) execution to post-sales implementation, and production scaling.
Act as a player-coach and technical PM for our customers, deeply understanding their use cases to help them build out their AI stacks using Parallel's APIs.
Write code alongside customer engineering teams, building evaluation suites, harnesses, and features to ensure their success.
Serve as the bridge between our customers and our core engineering team, translating real-world feedback into product improvements.
Run technical feasibility workshops and demos, proving the value of our platform through rigorous evaluations.
Become a power user and subject matter expert on Parallel's search and agent APIs.
