We just announced our $3M Pre-Seed. Watch our — launch video.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to own and drive large-scale distributed systems projects as a high-output IC. You'll join a small, elite engineering team building infrastructure that orchestrates hundreds of thousands of concurrent AI agents, solving problems around race conditions, real-time data transmission, and write throughput at massive scale. The CTO (ex-Google, ex-Amazon) is looking for someone who can take on projects independently and make hard problems look easy. This is a rare opportunity to join a YC-backed company at an inflection point, where one engineer can have outsized impact on a product scaling the unscalable.
Leading large infrastructural projects end-to-end as the primary IC: designing, building, and deploying distributed services in production
Solving scalability challenges unique to parallelizing 10,000+ concurrent agents (race conditions, self-healing, real-time output streaming)
Building reliable agent orchestration infrastructure that handles millions of tokens per minute with error resilience and self-debugging capabilities
Working directly with the CTO to reduce bottlenecks and take ownership of critical distributed systems work
Shipping production-grade code at high velocity in a 5-days-a-week in-office environment alongside a tight-knit team
Paradigm is a San Francisco-based AI-powered workspace focused on large-scale agent orchestration, backed by Y Combinator and founders from Dropbox, Intercom, Langchain, Redis, Behance, and Posthog.
