Musely is hiring a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead accounting, financial planning & analysis, and operational finance for a fast-growing consumer health company. This executive will partner with the leadership team to build scalable finance processes, improve margins, and support data-driven growth across the business.

What you'll do

• Lead all aspects of financial operations, including FP&A, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Establish efficient, scalable processes across financial management, accounting, contract compliance, and procurement.
• Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to maintain financial health and efficiency.
• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with company objectives and profitability goals.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to leadership, operations, and department heads.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve gross margin and optimize inventory controls, counts, and reporting.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Develop scalable financial systems, tools, and models to support rapid growth and operational excellence.

What Musely is looking for

• 5–10 years of relevant experience managing projects and high-visibility initiatives in finance.
• Proven experience leading FP&A, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting under GAAP.
• Demonstrated track record scaling finance operations for businesses in the $50–100M+ revenue range; IPO experience preferred.
• Background in telemedicine, healthcare, or managing physical inventory, supply chain, and manufacturing of goods.
• Strong finance and accounting fundamentals; advanced degree (MBA/Master's) or CPA preferred.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional partnership, and leadership skills with the ability to drive consensus.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
• Willingness to work in the San Francisco Bay Area or Salt Lake City, Utah.
