Mercura is hiring its first Product Designer to define the look, feel, and usability of an AI-first B2B product. You’ll join a small, ambitious product team on-site in Munich and own end-to-end design — from user research and prototyping to collaborating with engineers to ship features that solve real customer problems.

What you'll do

• Own the entire product design process end-to-end, making core UX and product decisions.
• Lead user research and speak directly to customers to surface pain points and validate solutions.
• Build interactive prototypes and test product hypotheses with customers.
• Design intuitive, AI-first interfaces that simplify complex B2B workflows.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to implement and iterate on new features.
• Contribute to brand and marketing assets (website, visuals, presentations) as needed.
• Work on-site from Mercura’s Munich office and participate in the Product & Operations team.

What Mercura is looking for

• 2–5 years of experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio focused on AI and complex B2B SaaS workflows.
• Proven experience conducting user research and translating insights into product outcomes.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Lovable, Cursor, Claude, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup and building products from the ground up.
• Ideally able to ship code or collaborate closely with code (React, TypeScript, Python) to production.
• Willingness to work in-person from Mercura’s Munich office or relocate.
• Fluent in German and English to support primarily German-speaking users.
