Founder's Associate (Growth)
About this role
Mercura is hiring its first Founder's Associate (Growth) to work side-by-side with the CEO from our Munich office to drive go-to-market execution, scale commercial operations, and accelerate market expansion. This hands-on role sits within Sales and is central to building processes, sourcing pipeline, and turning insight into measurable commercial impact at an early-stage startup.
What you'll do
- Work directly with the CEO on high-priority initiatives to drive company growth and market expansion.
- Maintain CRM data quality and own the sales enablement infrastructure, including playbooks and pitch decks.
- Coordinate trade fairs and events to support pipeline generation and customer engagement.
- Design workflows and frameworks that move deals efficiently from first touch to close.
- Source and analyze market and pipeline data to identify high-potential target accounts.
- Translate pipeline insights into actionable improvements across the sales process.
- Explore and validate new markets and identify strategic expansion opportunities.
- Build, manage, and close partnerships while driving customer expansion.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc, high-impact projects as the CEO’s right hand.
What Mercura is looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in fast-paced environments such as startups, consulting, or VC.
- Experience building or scaling startups, leading projects, student initiatives, or driving sales.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset with the ability to turn analysis into commercial action.
- Strong customer empathy and business sense to identify and address customer pain points.
- Professional fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, resilient, and willing to do unglamorous work to achieve ambitious goals.
- Analytical, highly organized, curious, and proactive in execution.
- Outgoing, collaborative team player who can lead when needed and is willing to work on-site in Munich.
