About the Team:
Lambeth's Integrated Children's Commissioning Service delivers commissioning functions on behalf of Lambeth Council and Southeast London ICB. The portfolio of work covered across the service is broad and includes all Early Years and Parenting Services, including the national Family Hub Start for Life programme; services that support Vulnerable Children, including Children Looked After, alongside universal and targeted Youth and Play services; and services to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities as well as children's Physical, Emotional and Mental Health and Well Being.
A central role in the SEND and Health team, the Commissioning Manager leads a team of Officers and Support Officers to deliver a programme of work related to the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people in Lambeth.
About the Role:
Lambeth Council and Southeast London ICB are seeking to appoint a Commissioning Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of work focused on the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people in Lambeth. Working with a wide range of stakeholders from across southeast London, the postholder will play a critical role in designing and shaping an integrated and cohesive service offer that ensures children and young people in Lambeth have access to and receive the best possible support, at the right time. Working closely with the Lead Commissioner, the successful applicant will also play an important role in the local delivery of regional and national programmes of work.
We are looking for applicants with a drive and passion for ensuring that services deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their ability to design and commission high-quality services, and a commitment to effective partnership working.
