Senior Product Designer

Ivo is seeking a Senior Product Designer in San Francisco to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our design system. You’ll guide a small team of designers and collaborate with Product and Engineering to enable rapid iteration with coherence, taste, and craft.

What youll do

• Create, maintain, and scale component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards.
• Develop workflows that improve designer and developer collaboration, such as Figma libraries, documentation, and quality checks.
• Shape internal best practices for design documentation, guidelines, and cross-team collaboration.
• Constantly raise the bar for design craft and execution.
• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure system adoption, alignment, and implementation quality of the design system.

What Ivo is looking for

• 5+ years of product design experience (or front-end/UI engineering) with a track record in B2B SaaS.
• Deep expertise in Figma, component libraries, tokens, variants, and scalable design systems; strong accessibility knowledge.
• Experience designing for AI-native products or AI features, with ability to adapt to rapid AI-driven UI changes.
• Experience building or scaling design systems; familiarity with legal tech products is a plus.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining design workflows that enhance designer–developer collaboration (Figma libraries, documentation, quality checks).
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI, animation or dynamic elements, and a clear design rationale.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to articulate system rationale and implementation guidance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and high craft standards.
• Strong fundamentals in design and problem solving.
