Position Overview

The VP – Enterprise AI & Data Analytics is a senior executive leadership role responsible for driving Intel’s enterprise-wide AI and data analytics strategy, execution, and value creation. This transformative position merges business acumen, strategic vision, and technological expertise to accelerate AI-driven innovation, automation, and operational excellence across the company. The VP will lead the Corporate Data and Insights team, overseeing the development, deployment, and governance of AI, automation, and data solutions that enable Intel’s digital transformation.
This role will define and execute a roadmap, focusing on hardening foundational capabilities, driving cultural adoption of AI, and delivering measurable productivity gains through automation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • AI & Automation Strategy: Define and execute the enterprise AI and automation vision, aligned with Intel’s strategic objectives and business priorities. Partner with C-level executives and business unit leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI and automation opportunities. Deliver both foundational improvements and cultural transformation, with clear deliverables over 12–24 months.
  • Data Strategy & Architecture: Oversee the definition and evolution of foundational data platforms, technologies, and reference architectures to support scalable AI and automation solutions.
  • Core Data Solutions: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and lifecycle management of core enterprise data (Customer, Supplier, Item/BOM, Finance, Reference, etc.) as the backbone for AI and analytics.
  • Data Ingestion & Engineering: Lead teams building and optimizing data pipelines (ETL/ELT), real-time streaming, and data reliability to fuel AI and automation initiatives.
  • Data Foundation & BI Enablement: Guide the design of data models, warehousing/lakehouse environments, and enablement of executive dashboards, reporting, analytics, and self-service BI.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement: Provide tooling, environments, and expertise to support predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and the operationalization of AI/ML solutions.
  • Data Quality & Readiness: Champion data governance, quality, and readiness strategies to ensure trusted, compliant, and high-value data assets for AI and automation.
  • Data Literacy: Empower teams across Intel to understand, use, and communicate with data, driving smarter decisions and unlocking business value.
  • Business Relationship Management: Oversee business relationship managers who partner with business units to align data, AI, and automation initiatives with organizational goals.
  • AI Governance & Compliance: Chair the AI governance board, evolving responsible AI policies and governance programs to address regulatory, ethical, and compliance requirements.
  • Ecosystem Leadership: Build and nurture relationships with technology partners, vendors, research institutes, and industry associations to advance Intel’s AI and automation agenda.
  • Change Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, AI literacy, and change management to accelerate enterprise transformation and adoption of AI and automation.
     

Success Metrics

  • Establish and track KPIs for AI and automation adoption across business units.
  • Measure productivity improvements and cost savings from implemented solutions.
  • Monitor cultural adoption and AI literacy progress through training completion and usage metrics.
  • Ensure delivery of foundational data and AI capabilities within agreed timelines.
  • Report quarterly progress to executive leadership and hold organizations accountable for outcomes.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Proven transformational leadership experience in enterprise AI and data analytics across IT and business domains.
  • Hands-on execution capability beyond strategy; ability to scale initiatives from pilot to enterprise-wide adoption, delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of business objectives, industry dynamics, and AI/automation concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influence skills, with a proven ability to align cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to articulate and measure the business value and ROI of AI and automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data protection laws (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
  • Ideally experience driving transformation in the high-tech industry.
  • Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a culture of innovation, ethics, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • 15+ years of business experience, ideally in technology management or business management at or near the executive level, with P&L responsibility.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise AI, automation, or data programs, leading cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, automation, data engineering, or advanced analytics in information-intensive or digitally advanced enterprises.
  • Experience/Deep Knowledge with SAS ERP Solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy and management consulting, business transformation, and technology-led change programs.
  • Track record of building and operationalizing AI/automation systems, managing enterprise investment portfolios, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $999.00-$999,999.00
