About this role

We are looking for a Founding Product Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join a seed-stage, AI-native startup tackling a massive underbuilt corner of the insurance world. You'll be a builder with true ownership: not just implementing features off a backlog, but deciding what's worth building and why. The founders bring 20+ years of engineering and AI leadership across high-stakes domains, combined with senior insurance leadership through scale and IPO. This is a long-term journey building something complex and impactful, with the reward of shaping a product from the ground up in one of the largest, least automated parts of the economy.

What will you be doing?

Working across the full stack (Python/FastAPI backend, TypeScript/React frontend) to build and ship AI-powered products end-to-end

Making architectural and product decisions autonomously

Operating in a flat, fast-moving team where you own outcomes and iterate quickly in a complex, regulated domain
