About this role
Harmonic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to join one of our two teams—Discovery or Flow. You’ll help build the intelligence layer that turns unstructured sources into structured knowledge, and you’ll contribute to Flow’s deal management system built on our knowledge graph. This role helps accelerate sourcing, diligence, and collaboration for venture capital workflows.
What youll do
- Collaborate across Harmonic’s Discovery and Flow teams to build scalable full-stack features from data ingestion to search, research, and deal management.
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs on top of large, heterogeneous data sources.
- Develop customer-facing experiences that enable fast sourcing, diligence, and collaboration within the platform.
- Integrate AI tools and workflows to support natural language and structured queries in research processes.
- Build resilient architectures that handle large data volumes with strong performance, reliability, and security.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to translate complex requirements into maintainable software.
What Harmonic is looking for
- Harmonic requires 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Harmonic requires proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Harmonic requires experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs on large data sources.
- Harmonic requires experience with a 60/40 backend/frontend development split.
- Harmonic requires familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Cursor) and AI-enabled workflows.
- Harmonic requires strong CS fundamentals.
- Harmonic requires a track record of clear career progression at high-growth, VC-backed startups.
