You are responsible to develop business plans and marketing programs to ensure planned sales targets are met. You are also required to build and maintain excellent relationships with intermediaries and business partners.

• Responsible for GWP & Underwriting Profit set for Agency Channel
• Plan and develop business and marketing plans
• Execute and manage campaigns & events
• Conduct competitive analysis / product comparison with regular updates
• Day to day management of Personal Lines product portfolio
• Visitation and network with Intermediaries and business partners to enhance business relationship
• Arrange and provide regular training to agents and business partners
• Provide quotations in accordance with assigned underwriting limits and within the company’s underwriting guidelines and treaty terms
• Participate in any ad-hoc projects assigned
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in similar role, with some experience in product management preferred
• Preferably obtained Certificate in Personal General Insurance (BCP and PGI) and Certificate in Health Insurance
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good team player who is task and results oriented
• Meticulous and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
