Qualifications: A full-time or part-time daytime student at Sheridan College with a GPA of at least 2.5, and not undergoing a co-op term between September to April.

Commitments: must have availability between 9 am to 5 pm and be able to work up to 15 hours per week
Pay Rate: $17.87
SCOPE AND NATURE
Sheridan Student Union Inc. (SSUI) is a student-led organization representing all full-time and day part-time fee-paying students at Sheridan College. The Promotions & Engagement Team Member is responsible for enriching the student experience beyond academics to enhance the #SheridanLife for their fellow Sheridan students. Promotions and Engagement Team Members connect and engage with Sheridan students in-person and execute assigned promotional campaigns to ensure that Sheridan students receive information about SSU events, clubs and services.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Promotions & Engagement Team Member will work closely with other team members, the Promotions & Engagement Team Supervisor and the Social Media & Community Engagement Manager to brainstorm and execute SSU promotional activities.
The Promotions & Engagement Team Member will be expected to work respectfully with all SSU staff, volunteers, Sheridan College staff, and Sheridan College students.
PROMOTIONS & ENGAGEMENT TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote all SSU-related events, services, and initiatives to the Sheridan community
• Assist the Marketing Department in brainstorming, developing and executing promotional
campaigns. This will be done in person at each respective home campus
• Assist in the maintenance of SSU poster boards around campus, including the posting and removal of all posters weekly
• Expected to attend weekly meetings with the Promotions & Engagement Team Supervisor to brainstorm campus pop-ups/hallway engagements
• As directed by management, you will be expected to attend certain SSU day/or night events to engage students
• Represent the students at Sheridan College in all matters as required and report as necessary
• Act in such a manner that reflects the professional values and expectations of the SSUI, as well as operating in accordance with the Values and Mission as well as the by-laws and policies of SSUI
• Other duties as assigned
