The Role :

We are currently recruiting a Master Data Specialist within the Uniphar Group. This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career within a dynamic, fast paced environment at the centre of a growing business.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. They will receive and review master data requests from Business users and update target systems (ERP, WMS etc) accordingly. They will also develop a full understanding of our Master Data processes & procedures ensuring data accuracy and compliance with all regulatory obligations. Data modelling and visualisation activities driving optimum data consistency will also be a key success factor in our near-term transition program for ERP, WMS and MDM platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for completing day to day Master Data activities within required timelines, always ensuring accuracy & minimising the impact of errors.
• Participation in key projects & duties as defined by the Master Data Manager - e.g. new ERP & Warehouse Management (WMS) and MDM implementations.
• Assist with the training of business units on current Master Data processes (content, quality & governance)
• Operate in a proactive manner, always complying with Company procedures.
• Proactively highlight any issues around Master Data quality, compliance & governance
• Contribute towards department objectives in line with the overall business strategy
• Work closely with Business Unit & Project teams to ensure optimum Master Data quality & efficiency

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Excellent PC skills, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint etc.
• Extremely competent with Microsoft Excel – formulas & macro’s etc
• Knowledge of SAP, iWac’s, Cache & SharePoint an advantage
• Good planning & organising skills with good time management.
• Strong analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability in a busy, fast-moving environment
