What you’ll do
Safety and Compliance: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors, operating machines and equipment safely according to work instructions, and consistently wearing appropriate PPE.
Machining Support: Safely and efficiently load and unload parts on/off machine centers using an overhead crane, including turning over parts as required.
Part Handling: Perform deburring of sharp edges and clean parts to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Machinist Assistance: Assist machinists with clamping and unclamping parts on machines, supporting smooth and efficient machining operations.
Machine Maintenance Support: Help clean machines by removing swarf and transferring it to designated skips, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
Matric (Grade 12).
Previous experience as a crane operator.
Ability to read and interpret documents.
Nice-to-haves:
Valid overhead crane license(advantageous).
