As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will support management and employees within your assigned client group, working in partnership with leaders to address a range of human resources related matters. You goal will be to contribute to the successful delivery of people strategies and provide guidance on day-to-day HR activities. Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with people leaders to support the implementation of people strategies that support business goals, workforce plans, and organizational performance
- Provide guidance on core HR cycles including performance management, compensation, career development, succession planning, and workforce planning
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on team effectiveness, leadership capability, employee relations, and managing complex people issues
- Support employee engagement initiatives by analyzing insights, identifying trends, and partnering with leaders to implement targeted action plans
- Participate in HR projects and change initiatives and change efforts, helping coordinate activities and support effective rollout and adoption
- Support and facilitate talent and succession discussions, supporting strong internal pipelines and proactive development planning
- Provide input on talent risks, operational people matters, and compliance considerations, using data and insights to inform decisions
- Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Expertise and Senior HR leaders to deliver enterprise programs and consistently apply HR standards and practices
Your Skills:
- Solid business and financial acumen with the ability to connect HR solutions to organizational outcomes
- Working knowledge of employee relations, employment legislation, and performance management practices
- Effective coaching, consulting, and influencing skills to support leaders through ambiguity and change
- Ability to contribute to change management initiatives and support leaders through transitions
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace
Your Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required; a professional HR designation (e.g., CPHR) is considered an asset
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting leaders on employee relations and HR processes
- Experience in a complex or operational environment and familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday would be considered an asset
