Special Projects Lead

Fira Health is building an AI operating system that automates the entire back office of home health, collapsing 20+ traditional roles into 2. The Special Projects Lead will own the operational stack, tackling high-leverage workflows where automation intersects patient care. You’ll work directly with the founders, product, and engineering to design, ship, and scale the right solutions across the U.S.

What youll do

• Own critical operational domains end-to-end, translating real-world workflows into scalable solutions.
• Map and optimize care-delivery and revenue workflows to identify leverage points for automation.
• Define the operational strategy and sequencing of workflow improvements to accelerate scale.
• Translate cross-functional needs from operators, clinicians, and engineers into clear requirements.
• Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to build and ship systems powering care delivery nationwide.
• Serve as an early operational leader shaping the operating model and growth trajectory.

What Fira Health is looking for

• 1+ years of experience in special projects or operational leadership positions.
• Technical fluency to engage with engineers and understand concepts like APIs, schemas, latency, and security.
• Experience in healthcare operations or technology (intake, clinical documentation, revenue cycle management).
• Experience working directly with operators and multiple stakeholders to improve labor-intensive, process-driven workflows.
• Experience at MBB (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG), top banks, or high-growth startups.
• Willingness to relocate to Texas, New York, or Colorado.
• Ability to travel approximately one week per month to company/client sites.
