The Role
As our Website Owner, you will own the most important surface area of our growth: conveo.ai.
Not “maintain the website.”
Not “publish blog posts.”
You will run the website as a conversion engine and a compounding distribution asset, improving:
messaging clarity
conversion rate
SEO performance
navigation and structure
landing pages and vertical pages
speed and UX
lead capture and intent routing
and how Conveo shows up in the new era of AI search (GEO: Generative Engine Optimization)
Our current website is not good enough for the next phase of growth by a long shot.
This role exists because we need someone who wakes up thinking about how to make the site 2x better every quarter.
Your Mission
1) Own the website roadmap (always-on)
You drive continuous improvement through themed sprints:
clear focus areas (e.g., “ICP clarity,” “vertical pages,” “demo conversion,” “SEO expansion”)
weekly or bi-weekly updates
measurable outcomes
constant iteration
You don’t ship random tweaks. You run a system.
2) Improve conversion and clarity relentlessly
You’ll identify what blocks conversion and remove it:
rewrite value propositions
restructure pages
sharpen CTAs
reduce friction
improve lead forms and routing
create high-performing landing pages
run A/B tests where it matters
Your output isn’t “a redesign.” It’s higher intent → higher conversion.
3) Own SEO as a growth product
You’ll build an SEO engine that compounds:
keyword + topic strategy
programmatic opportunities (where relevant)
internal linking and information architecture
content briefs that others can write and publish
technical SEO
structured data
performance reporting and prioritization
You are not “the blog writer.”
You are the person who makes SEO systematic and scalable.
4) Win in AI search (GEO)
Search is changing. People don’t just Google they ask AI.
You will make Conveo show up in:
AI overviews / generative search
LLM-driven discovery
high-intent conversational queries
recommendation-style results
You’ll treat GEO as a core distribution channel: content structure, clarity, citations, schema, and “answer-ready” pages.
5) Be a multiplier, not a bottleneck
Others should be able to ship content without you becoming the gatekeeper.
Your job is to:
set structure and standards
create templates and systems
maintain quality and consistency
enable the org to move fast
and still keep the site coherent and sharp
You own the website but you’re not the blocker.
6) Make it measurable and visible
You build a reporting cadence:
traffic and source quality
conversion by page and funnel step
SEO growth and wins
experiment results
funnel insights and next actions
And you regularly share opportunities with the org.
What we’re looking for
Non-negotiables
Proven experience owning a B2B website and driving measurable growth (SEO + CRO)
Strong copy instincts and messaging clarity (you can write and edit)
Strong analytical instincts: you know what to measure, and what matters
Comfort running experiments and prioritizing ruthlessly
Ability to collaborate with design, marketing, product, and engineering
High agency: you don’t wait for tasks, you create the roadmap
Hands-on with Webflow / Framer / headless CMS setups
Experience with AI-search/GEO tactics
Comfort writing landing pages and high-intent vertical pages
Experience building programmatic SEO systems
Experience with technical SEO and structured data
Mindset
Treats the website like a product
Obsessed with clarity, conversion, and compounding growth
Fast-moving and pragmatic ships weekly, not quarterly
High standards, low ego
Loves systems, templates, and leverage
Comfortable being wrong, iterating, and improving publicly
Bonus (not required)
Strong understanding of B2B buyer psychology + intent funnels
Experience in AI/B2B SaaS environments
What success looks like
Website conversion rate increases significantly (and stays up)
Messaging becomes clearer fewer confused prospects, more qualified demos
SEO becomes a predictable growth channel
High-intent landing pages exist for key ICPs / verticals / use cases
The website becomes a stronger “silent salesperson” for Conveo
Internal stakeholders say: “The site finally matches the ambition and product quality.”
Conveo consistently shows up for important searches including AI-driven discovery
Website work ships continuously without drama, bottlenecks, or chaos
