Founding Operator

CloudCruise is hiring a Founding Operator to be the company's first dedicated business hire, working directly with the CEO to scale non-engineering functions and drive operational growth. This role is critical for building repeatable processes across sales, hiring, customer success, marketing, and events as the company scales in the healthcare automation space.

What you'll do

• Partner with the CEO across sales, hiring, customer support, marketing, events, and other business functions to scale the company 10x.
• Build processes from scratch, own outcomes end-to-end, and thrive in a context-switching environment.
• Research prospects, run outreach sequences, book discovery calls, and support deal cycles with healthcare AI companies and enterprise RCM firms.
• Source candidates, manage hiring pipelines, coordinate interviews, and help close new hires.
• Plan and execute networking events, dinners, and meetups in the SF healthcare AI ecosystem and represent CloudCruise at conferences.
• Shape positioning, draft outbound messaging, manage social presence, and help produce content for healthcare operators and buyers.
• Serve as first-line customer support: triage issues, escalate to engineering when needed, and ensure customers feel taken care of.
• Manage vendors, internal tooling, and process documentation to keep the business moving.

What CloudCruise is looking for

• 1–4 years of experience in a high-performance environment (startups, consulting, banking, or similar) with demonstrated high output and ownership.
• Strong operational instincts and problem-solving fundamentals; able to prioritize and execute across diverse business needs.
• Comfortable speaking with technical audiences and familiarity with developer tools is a plus.
• Relevant experience in healthcare, health tech, or selling to healthcare buyers, ideally with exposure to revenue cycle management.
• Familiarity with outbound sales tools (e.g., Apollo, Clay) and experience running outreach sequences.
• Prior startup experience, especially at seed or Series A stage, is preferred.
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for an in-person role; must be eligible to work in the US.
