Job Summary
This position supports the Hope Squad in outreach initiatives that promote a campus culture of equality, safety, and mental health awareness.
Two openings are available — please specify whether you are interested in a 19‑hour/week or 10‑hour/week position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing Hope Squad outreach initiatives
- Attend the weekly Hope Squad class
- Become familiar with Hope Squad regulations, procedures, and mission
- Coordinate efforts with various campus departments
- Help create informative and engaging posters, flyers, videos, and other promotional materials
- Use office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and desktop computers
- Demonstrate leadership by fulfilling assigned program responsibilities and organizational roles
- Assist with planning and creating content for public outreach, including (but not limited to) social media accounts, posters, flyers, emails, and surveys
HOPE Squad leads will exemplify kind and courteous treatment of others, professional behavior around sensitive topics, and supportive treatment to all students.
