A bayshore (Senior) Associate, Legal AI will help shape a founder-led product culture around AI-enabled legal workflows. You’ll partner directly with the founders and clients to ship rapidly, translate complex regulatory and policy logic into actionable capabilities, and influence product direction from Munich.

What youll do

• Shape bayshore's product and engineering culture by working with founders and customers to ship fast and define the stack, product, and team evolution.
• Work directly with client management to map processes and distill requirements.
• Understand the decision logic of regulations and the client’s internal policies.
• Redesign legal workflows of customers with an AI-first approach.
• Help encode legal rulesets into code that AI can execute.
• Automate processes that previously required large compliance teams.
• Influence product direction through tight feedback loops with client users.

What bayshore is looking for

• Strong legal credentials with demonstrated excellence; relevant experience in law or law-adjacent fields (pharma, defense, or finance) preferred.
• Belief that AI can handle many aspects of legal work and a passion for AI-enabled tooling.
• Comfortable using computers and willing to learn a domain-specific programming language for lawyers (training provided).
• Ability to move fast, think clearly, and take ownership; shipping-focused with a bias toward simplicity over abstraction.
• Excellent client-facing skills and a business mindset, prioritizing delivering value to clients.
• Thrives in early-stage startups with high ownership, speed, and ambiguity.
