We just announced our $3M Pre-Seed. Watch our β launch video.
We are looking for a GTM Engineer with 1β5 years of experience to build the technical infrastructure that powers customer acquisition at August, a fast-growing legal AI company backed by NEA, Pear VC, and Afore Capital. This is systems engineering applied to go-to-market β you'll write real code that directly drives revenue, not just configure integrations. If you're a passionate builder who wants immediate business impact from your work, this role is for you.
Build and scale outbound automation systems β cold email infrastructure, LinkedIn prospecting pipelines, and lead enrichment tools from scratch
Design and integrate GTM APIs (Clay, HubSpot, Amplemarket, Apollo, Google Ads) with proper rate limiting, webhooks, and error handling
Instrument analytics and build A/B testing frameworks to systematically improve open rates, conversion rates, and pipeline volume
Own SEO infrastructure and referral platform engineering end-to-end
Develop internal tools that allow the team to acquire and engage thousands of potential clients at scale
Proficient in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript β must be able to build production-grade automation and data pipelines
Has built custom GTM or growth automation tools from scratch (not just turning on integrations) with measurable business results
Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A+) or top-tier tech company (e.g., Clay, Ramp, Cursor, Figma, Coinbase) β pure seed-stage hopping is a red flag
4-year CS or engineering degree from a top-tier institution β bootcamp graduates are a hard dealbreaker
High-agency builder who defaults to prototyping and rapid experimentation β can point to specific metrics they've moved
Backed by NEA, Pear VC, and Afore Capital, August builds AGI for law to automate legal work with agents mimicking lawyersβ reasoning, research, and drafting. It has >4x revenue growth in four months and serves mid-market firms globally.
Know someone who'd be great for this?
