We currently collaborate with 19 000+ merchants across 10 European countries, and the acquisition of new accounts is a pivotal focus for us. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our SMB customer base and contribute directly to Alma's sales success.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As a<strong> Sales Development Representative (SDR)</strong>, your impact at Alma will be immediate and tangible: you will directly <strong>contribute to increasing payment volumes processed by Alma while growing our SMB merchant portfolio (for French and Spanish market)</strong>. You will have the satisfaction of helping the team closing deals within weeks and in manifesting Alma as a European player.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>About the mission</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Reporting to the Head of Sales SMB, your main responsibilities are:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Develop Alma's sales activity</strong> using the tools available (telephone/email/social networks, Sales navigator...) and closely work with the Growth team to actively prospect on a defined block of verticals with merchants having an annual turnover of less than €10M€</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Generate lists of prospects in collaboration with the Growth and Marketing teams</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Implement a prospecting strategy</strong> and actively follow-up targets in order to qualify their needs and identify potential projects</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Obtaining <strong>qualified appointments</strong> for your Account Executives</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Track and monitor</strong> your activity and find the best methods to improve the prospecting process.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You will also benefit from an ongoing coaching/training program that will enable you to develop strong commercial, e-commerce and payment skills.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">About you</span>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You will be a good fit for the role if:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Experience: </strong>1-2 years of experience in a similar role <em>(internships and apprenticeships included)</em>.
