Sewer Equipment is a third generation family-owned company that was started in 1941 by H.T. O’Brien in the basement of his Chicago, Illinois home, He designed a small hand operated tool that was built to assist plumbers in cleaning drains. This tool was comprised of a short coiled cable attached to a hand drill. The flexible cable allowed the tool to navigate around turns and bends and better attack the blockage. This innovation gave birth to Sewer Equipment, that has recognized significant growth since its very humble beginnings. Over the years, the O’Brien family has grown the business with on-going commitment to designing and manufacturing innovative, high quality equipment and providing world class customer service. Sewer Equipment's current product offering includes combination sewer cleaners, truck jets, trailer jets, easement machines, vacuum excavators, bucket machines, mechanical rodders and parts/accessories.
