The company was founded by Mr. Frank O’Rielly, a former insurance salesman in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. O’Rielly learned the complex areas of the automobile industry in just three short years. Convinced he could do better on his own, Mr. O’Rielly broke from the dealership he was at. On March 23, 1924, O’Rielly Motor Company opened its doors as Tucson’s first Chevrolet dealer.
From the beginning, Mr. O’Rielly was determined to provide Tucson area drivers with nothing but the best in two things still in place today: sales and service.
