The Texas Department of State Health Services has designated Northwest Texas Healthcare as the Lead Trauma Facility for the top 26 counties within the Texas Panhandle. A satellite emergency facility, Northwest Emergency at Town Square, expands the hospital's reach in providing trauma care to the region.
