Lakeland Power Distribution Ltd., Lakeland Generation Ltd., Lakeland Solutions, and Lakeland Networks are all subsidiaries of Lakeland Holding Ltd. Our company is wholly owned by the municipalities of Bracebridge, Burk’s Falls, Huntsville, Magnetawan, Parry Sound and Sundridge.

Lakeland Generation Ltd. is proud of being the first municipality in Canada to generate electricity utilizing water, dating back to 1894. We are more than just a generation company. We are pioneers in an exciting new frontier where renewable energy, waterpower and exploration meet.

Lakeland Solutions is dedicated to furthering electricity innovation with projects like microgrid developments, residential technology, energy market participation, reducing GHG emissions and are changing how we view power. They are installing EV Charging Stations under the branding Lakeland TAKE CHARGE.

Lakeland Power distributes electricity to customers in Bracebridge, Burk’s Falls, Huntsville, Magnetawan, Parry Sound and Sundridge. Our priorities are safety, customer service and reliability.

Lakeland Networks was founded in 2000 to handle the maintenance and repair of streetlights and water heater rentals and provide internet service. Our mandate is to create a high-speed fibre network throughout Muskoka with high security. We proudly provide our communities with access to the fastest Internet in Ontario.
