Every road has a starting point. At Etnyre International, our road
began in 1898 in Oregon, Illinois. That’s where our founder, Edward D.
Etnyre, established E.D. Etnyre & Co. His ingenuity and commitment
to quality allowed a burgeoning United States to move, to transact
and to connect by developing the original road maintenance and
preservation machines that came to dominate the market.

Over the decades that followed, we developed a certain way of doing
things. Driven by care, humility, integrity, trust, and respect, we
crafted an approach that is evident today, even after 125 years.

It’s how we deal with our loyal members, our repeat customers, our
reliable suppliers and our dedicated dealers. It’s evident in our
superior products like our legendary distributors and chip spreaders
and our responsive services. We are fixated on high-performance,
quality, and reliability, the hallmarks of our reputation. Additionally,

Today, Etnyre International is a diversified manufacturing company
that is building a path to the future through our Etnyre, BearCat, SMF and
Hendrick businesses – legacy brands each in their own right.
