Founded in 1987 and based in Lynchburg, Centra is a regional, nonprofit healthcare system serving more than half a million people across central and southside Virginia. Our established network of facilities and services includes four hospitals, five medical centers, a nationally award-winning cardiovascular care center, and a cancer center, as well as 15 primary care and various specialty practices as part of our Centra Medical Group. We also offer a wide range of senior, post-acute, and mental health care services.
