Have spent +20 years as Corporate Startegist in Corporate Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, building reputation and pushing for enabling environments for tier 1 corporations -FMCG, Media & Editorial, Airlines, Tech, Energy- and NGO's across LatAm. Working with FORTUNE 500 executives and Latin American leaders through high-performance internal and external communications, brand PR and digital or social media campaigns, employer branding, social responsibility, public affairs, and crisis management, as well as driving strategic initiatives around Sustainability, Human Rights, Women Empowerment and Community development. One of the things I enjoy the most is my role as Adviser to GM's, Executive Committees, Leadership Teams, and Board Members, with a special focus on Storytelling & Empathetic Leadership.
Back in 2019, in parallel to my career in Corporate America, I created JappiWey_lab a coaching & mentoring channel for Latino Leaders, Women & teams to build leadership capability through empathy & storytelling which fuels my passion for creating inclusive and happier societies. More recently: I've led the strategy for Public Affairs Advocacy on Sustainability policy AND Strategic Communications to enable the company's strategy and smart- Ag innovation programs in the Americas and then moved to lead the Science and Innovation Communications strategy showcasing partnerships and the science program and publications @Mars home of iconic global brands such as M&M’S®, SNICKERS®, TWIX®, SKITTLES®, STARBURST®, ORBIT®, and LIFESAVERS®
