Project Manager turned Full Stack Developer. After completing my bachelors in business administration, I started my working career as a Junior Project Executive for a corporate communications agency and left as a Project Manager 6 years later. Upon moving to Germany, I spent the first year learning the local language and I was employed as Team Lead for 1 year where I led a team of 20-25 employees. In this time period I have handled simultaneous projects, managed communication between suppliers and the company and led and trained cross-functional teams. Why coding? Well, it stems from the fact that I am always trying to understand what happens under the hood of things that I am interested in, web applications being one of them, what makes them do what they do? After some research and hours of self learning, I became increasingly keen on learning more about it. Nothing beats the satisfaction of solving problems and seeing your application come to life. At this point I realised, this little passion is something I am going to turn into a career. However, to consider joining the tech world, I needed to be mentored and learn in a structured manner. So I finally took my first step of the process and joined a bootcamp at the WBS Coding School. Little did I know that I would be joining the same team that helped me build a foundation in web development as a Junior Full Stack Developer and Instructor and currently as lead instructor. My skills include HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, NextJS, Bootstrap, Restful API’s, Firebase, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, SQL, Git, Github, Figma and not planning to stop just here.
