Watchmaker is inviting applications for the full-time position of Regional Account Manager, Southeast Region, ideally based in Baltimore or RTP.
This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for driving sales growth across the company’s genomics product portfolio. This individual will be responsible for leading the promotion and sales of Watchmaker products at academic, translational, commercial and clinical labs, understanding and monitoring the competitive landscape, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and building a robust sales pipeline with a focus on developing strategic accounts to drive explosive growth in the region.

The candidate should have at minimum a BS in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant sales experience selling next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and/or other advanced genomics applications into high-throughput clinical sequencing labs, research hospitals, and Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs). Broad technical knowledge of NGS applications and products is a plus.

The base compensation for the Regional Account Manager, Southeast role starts at $120,000 to $150,000 + attractive commission structure; actual pay will be adjusted based on skills and experience. Employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off, Holidays, employer covers 75% of base medical plan with buy-up options, employer paid dental, employer paid vision, employer paid $25,000 life/AD&D policy, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match.
