Position Summary:
Assist with the food preparation, packaging of meals, delivery meals to congregate and homebound seniors. Assist in kitchen operations as needed. Driver must be prepared to drive in all traffic, types of roads, and weather conditions. Required to use company vehicle for meal deliveries.
Please note that this is a per diem position, working an estimated 24-29 hours/week.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Certifications/Licenses Required:
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification, and Current Driver License in the State of California or License from legal residence state. Clean driver’s record.
Preferred: Current Food Handler Card
Experience Required:
Preferred: 1-2 years working with seniors
Verbal and Written Skills Required to perform the Job:
Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
Ability to proficiently maneuver through emails all electronic applications used for job.

Computers, Software systems, kitchen appliances, Scanner, Telephones, Copy and Fax machines.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Prolonged, extensive, and considerable standing/Sitting/Walking/Lifting. Lift up to 50 lbs
Manual dexterity and mobility.
Always reaching, stooping bending, kneeling, crouching.
Ability to handle multiple job task functions simultaneously.
Ability to work harmoniously with others as a team member.
May be required to work evenings and/or weekends, and provide staffing coverage.
