Who are we looking for?

Rainforest is looking for its next Account Executive to join our Enterprise sales team and drive net new business growth for the organization. You should be well-versed in payments and someone who will thrive in a startup environment, contributing to all facets of the organization. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for full-cycle Enterprise sales, helping the next cohort for Vertical SaaS platforms take advantage of Rainforest’s PayFac-as-a-Service offering.

What are some of the high-impact opportunities you’ll tackle?

  • Owning the full sales cycle across Enterprise platforms - from lead to close

  • Educating and pitching Rainforest’s solution with a consultative approach

  • Building and maintaining key relationships with C-level executives, while orchestrating all executive touch points needed to drive deals forward

  • Prospecting and outbounding new target platforms and contacts across email, phone calls, live meetings and LinkedIn

  • Curating responses and formally answering RFPs

  • Representing Rainforest at conferences, networking events, and corporate engagements

  • Continually updating and managing Hubspot pipelines for tracking and forecasting

  • Working with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Finance) to put together business plans and driving strategy


This opportunity is for you if you have/are:

  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in an enterprise sales role selling complex solutions

  • A strong track record of moving sales processes forward from prospect to close

  • A team player who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally

  • An analytical, strategic negotiator with a value-driven sales motion

  • Proven ability to execute in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial startup

  • Comfort with owning inbound and outbound motions

  • Fintech, ideally payments experience, is a plus!

About Rainforest

Rainforest is a Payments-as-a-Service (PaaS) provider. We help software companies build and optimize embedded financial services so that they can provide a best-in-class payments experience for their end merchants without the risk, compliance, and operational burdens of registering as a payments facilitator with the card networks. Analysts estimate that by 2030, 75% of all payments globally will be processed via software versus traditional banking channels.
