The Photography Coordinator supports the end-to-end photo production process, with an emphasis on pre-production assistance, on-set support, and foundational post-production tasks. Will report to the Director of Photography.
THE WORK
- Assist with photo shoots: Grip, lighting techs, digitech,
- Learning commercial photography
- Pre-Production
- Assist with ideation and creation of concept decks, moodboards and shotlists.
- Learn to translate brand style guidelines into concepting and mood boarding
- Support concept deck buildouts
- Prep gear packages and studio needs based on shot list requirements
- Learn what lighting gear and grip is needed to execute photo productions
- Proficient camera operation
- Can compose basic shots under direction
- Proficient in studio lighting setup and breakdown
- Learning lighting plots
- Strong equipment handling, inventory, and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail
- Artistic eye in building presentation decks
