Pairtu is building the AI operating system for care navigation — a business-in-a-box platform for patient advocates that blends high-touch human support with AI-driven workflows. We need a founding engineer who codes at a senior level, thrives in ambiguity, and knows how to apply AI tooling in a production environment. This role involves architecting, building, and shipping the core product while leading the testing of AI tools to drive workflows.
Pairtu is on a mission to transform how families navigate care, starting with Medicare patients. Our work is deeply personal, and we’re growing fast. This is a $60bn market that is personal to us (we lost father figures and best friends due to healthcare). Learn more about our why → Watch our company video.
We match Medicare patients with trained advocates and supercharge those advocates with agentic tools (Care Agent for coordination & comms, Docu Agent for billing/compliance/scheduling, Task Agent for care-plan execution). New Medicare CPT/navigation codes (e.g., PIN) make this model financially sustainable; we handle clinical routing, documentation, and RCM so advocates focus on outcomes, not admin.
Mission: Make healthcare human again by ensuring every Medicare patient has a dedicated advocate who navigates the system, coordinates care, and fights for the patient’s best outcome.
Traction & model: Millions in run-rate in months; 60%+ gross margins; rapid D2C demand (we’re turning people away) with a roadmap to B2B. Our goal is to 8x in the next 6-12months for our next round of financing.
Tech stack & approach: Heavy backend and now moving into front-end experiences for patients and advocates.
What changed / why now: 10,000 people age into Medicare daily; CMS unlocked navigation codes; AI agents collapse non-value-add work—turning an historically unprofitable category into a high-margin, scalable platform. A competitor validated category demand; we’re winning with product depth, compliance-first workflows, cultural competence, and a B2B expansion plan.
Team & advisors: Serial founders who have exited (both attended Harvard and HBS). Advisors include leaders from tier one companies in healthcare and tech. We bias to builders over managers.
Culture: High-ownership, hands-on, no ivory-tower managers. Bias to action, intense standards, radical candor, and compassion. We value diversity, scrappiness, and measurable outcomes (patient NPS, show-up rates, avoidable ER visits). If you like shipping weekly, instrumenting what you ship, and directly hearing from the patients you help—you’ll thrive here.
Healthcare coordination platform connecting patients with dedicated advocates. Helps navigate healthcare system, insurance, medical billing, and appointment scheduling. Services often covered by Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.
