Key Responsibilities:
• Perform process/hardware characterization for process development/enhancement
• Perform various diagnostic measurements such as particles, metal contamination, etc.
• Measure or interface with analytical vendors for measurement, on hardware pieces in dimension, surface morphology, composition, etc.
• Data analysis and summary for identifying root cause during troubleshooting, and improvement during development/CIP projects
• Work closely with Lab Team and Etch Process on lab tool and process baseline.
• Communicate with customers to stay updated with the customers processes for hardware improvement characterization.
• Operate on Lab tools, test and identify hardware pieces that have the most impact to process and system performance.
• Publish results internally and externally
• Support transfer of solution to field and support activities at key customer accounts.
• Carry out company product development plan in different phases of product release, documentation, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• BS/MS in engineering fields such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, or physical sciences such as physics, material science
• Data analysis skills, including numerical and statistical analysis of data, treatment of experimental errors and graphical presentation of diverse (potentially multidimensional) datasets.
• Problem solving skills at a system level.
• Cross functional communication and co-ordination skills to work with multiple functional teams.
• Must be able to work independently under deadline pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work safely in a laboratory environment containing high-energy machinery and hazardous gases
• Must be able and willing to travel outside the US 10%
• May be required to lift up to 25 pounds
