Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to work in an international relevant partner in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Act as a technical reference point for software support on automotive systems (ECUs, power electronics, HV systems).
  • Analyze and resolve software and diagnostic incidents on vehicles in development, pre-series or production phases.
  • Support diagnostic activities using OBD / Scan Tools, including reading and interpreting DTCs.
  • Work closely with software, hardware, validation and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure solutions comply with automotive standards and processes (ASPICE, AUTOSAR where applicable).
  • Interpret and apply technical documentation (requirements, specifications, diagnostic manuals, test reports).
  • Support root cause analysis and definition of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support and troubleshooting processes.


Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical diploma or similar;
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in the automotive sector;
  • Experience with OBD + SCANTOOL protocols;
  • Basic knowledge of hybrid powertrains and its critical components (engine ECU, power electronics, DCDC converter, HV-Battery, On-board-charger);
  • English, spoken and written is mandatory.

Complementary Requirements:
  • French is also an advantage;
  • Knowledge of ASPICE and AUTOSAR is a plus.
