Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Perform manual testing to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Design, execute, and maintain automated tests using Selenium and TypeScript
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
- Validate and test RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with the development team
- Promote best testing practices and continuously improve QA processes
- Ensure high software quality standards throughout all project phases
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:- Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in manual and automated testing in a commercial environment
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
- Practical experience testing APIs using Postman
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Complementary Requirements:
- Experience with additional automation tools or frameworks
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- ISTQB Certified Tester
