Exciting opportunity to join our growing team in West Boca! We are a midsized Pediatric Multispecialty Center seeking a full time Medical Assistant, Monday-Friday.

• Greets, receives, and prepares patients for appointments/procedures; conducts interviews with patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
• Maintains clean and neat examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
• Receives and screens telephone calls.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Coordinates patient flow.
• Prepares timely, legible, and complete documentation of patient care under physician guidance as provided by law, regulation, and established policy
• Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistants who recently graduated or are approaching graduation must obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment
• Experience working in a pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Cardiology experience a plus (but not required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and authorization processes
• Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

JOB TYPE / WORK SCHEDULE: 

• This is a full-time position
• Standard Office hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Bilingual required
