Job Description
WHAT IS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL?
Working directly as a Direct Support Professional, you will be able to assist in a residential setting. The Direct Support Professional (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to those we support in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.
No Experience? That's fine, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.

Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with varying support needs. Founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1976, Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 5,000 employees who currently provide supports to almost 6,000 individuals across 15 states.
Dungarvin provides a variety of individually tailored services and supports under the Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver. Other services provided include day services, supported employment, case management, supported foster care, children’s services, respite care, host homes and supports for persons with traumatic brain injury and mental health needs in several states. Qualifications

- 18 years or older
- A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
- Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
