Clera is seeking a Founding Recruiting Account Manager to own employer relationships end-to-end and drive hiring outcomes as a founding team member at an AI-powered recruiting startup. You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for clients, keep searches moving, ensure alignment, and deliver an experience that earns repeat business to help Clera scale.

What youll do

• Own a portfolio of employer accounts, managing communication, expectations, timelines, and delivery.
• Run onboarding and kickoff sessions to ensure tight alignment from day one.
• Partner with hiring managers to nail down role requirements, interview processes, and success criteria.
• Maintain cadence with weekly updates, pipeline reviews, feedback loops, and decisive actions.
• Spot and resolve risks early, including stalled searches, misalignment, and slow feedback.
• Coordinate with internal recruiters and sourcers to translate client needs into execution.
• Track performance via simple dashboards and scorecards (pipeline health, speed, conversion).
• Drive renewals and expansion by delivering strong results and surfacing new hiring needs.
• As a founding hire, shape the playbook for how Clera manages employer relationships at scale.

What Clera is looking for

• 3-7 years in account management or client services at a recruiting agency or staffing firm.
• Track record managing multiple concurrent employer relationships.
• Proven ability to recruit for software engineering roles (frontend/backend) and AI/ML talent.
• Strong consultative and operational skills: you can advise and you can execute.
• Comfortable navigating stakeholders (hiring managers, recruiters, HR/finance) and driving decisions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written communication and follow-through.
• Commercial mindset: you think about retention, expansion, and long-term account value.
• Ability to operate with high ownership in a pre-seed startup; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid pace.
• 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in startups or high-growth tech companies.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools; proven ability to source passive candidates.
• Strong experience managing client-facing relationships and acting as a Recruiting Account Manager with hiring managers and candidates.
